I used to work the grill at Sonic Drive-In. Those of you in the Midwest, you know what I'm talking about. For everyone else, it's a fast food place. We used these for cooking the bacon to put on our bacon cheeseburgers. It helps reduce shrinkage and keeps the bacon strips from curling up. You can also use it to get rid of some of the grease & fat from hamburgers.
