Possibly genius, but mostly completely pointless. The beer belt will allow you to carry up to six beers at a time. The downside is that you'll look completely ridiculous while doing.

This is a brilliant invention. I am quite surprised that the inventor of this didn't receive the Nobel Peace Prize. No one will get into fights anymore cause you can bring enough for everyone!

Sturdy nylon belt holds 6 beer cans or bottles! Perfect for anyone on their way to college. My friends would have loved one of these. What am I saying? They'd still love one. Graduating didn't change a thing.
