I wont sugarcoat my feelings, I would by this album -- no matter what, no matetr how bad it was. Thankfully though, the Lips have pulled out another awesome one. They continue to change directions, btu stay true to their legacy.

Three's recommendation
The most haunting and intriguing Flaming Lips music in some time. "Embryonic" provides everything I wanted from Gliss, Boris, Dead Meadow, and Wooden Shjips. The production feels live and dirty yet unlike albums with similar sound, "Embryonic" is easy on the ears, a neat trick. Some how The Flaming Lips have crafted a album that makes it to the top of my favorite albums from 2009.

I got the album the day it came out...some of it's a bit too experimental for my taste, but then again it's The Flaming Lips! I love the first track and one of the instrumentals!
