I have always had this problem with the keys to my truck… if I am not losing them on the beach then I’m locking them in the truck. Now the keys locked in the truck problem has gotten a little easier to deal with since I got On Star on the Avalanche last year. I think its really cool the way On Star can unlock my doors, but this only works when I don’t lock my cell in the truck with my keys. This item on my list is perfect for me.
The Hitch Safe Key Vault will slide right into the Avalanches current 2" hitch receiver and by simply lifting off the rubber dust cover, which is made to look like any normal hitch cover, I can enter in my personal 4 number dial combination and get my keys. Then all I have to do is remember the combination.
