You like those panoramic pictures of the inauguration. Well, with this robotic mount, you can take the same type of pictures with, almost, any point and shoot camera.

This is going to be an epic fail rec if I actually attempt to explain how this works. I don't know how the hell it works. But I did SEE it in action on a recent weekend photo shoot in Chicago and.... well it's fricking wow. Big-time wow. (Yes, I could get more blonde. And might before this review is done.)
What is it? Look to the site for the official explanation. To me, it is a magical little robotic creature that attaches to your tripod and with the push of a few buttons to set the parameters (so simple, even I could do it) it starts moving and clicking your point-and-shoot camera to capture gigapixel panoramic images. The resolution is incredible. Truly, you just hit a few buttons and step back. It does the rest. Up, down, side to side... like a little robotic, picture-taking geisha.
Oh forget it. I give up trying to explain it. It's really cool and you should go look at the site. Here endeth the lesson.
