It almost goes without saying that the KITT voice is far superior for voice navigation in your car than any other solution out there. (This spoken by a child of the 80s, of course.)

I heard about this product yesterday when someone I know told me the press embargo for this product's official announcement due Tuesday had been broken by a popular gadgets blog. Within 20 minutes several blogs already had it up on their site and this morning I found 189,000 Google results for the query "Knight Rider GPS."

Only goes to show you, children of the 80s are all grown up and have cold-hard cash to plunk down for throwback versions of everyday products. Kudos to Mio for understanding the spending power of the baby boomer's kids!

This may be the coolest gadget I've seen in years. I almost bought a new GPS unit last weekend, but I think I'll be holding out for this one instead. Great find!

How cool is this! Honestly, I haven't even seen Knight Rider but apparently in high school I had a total "Knight RIder" car and I am a total bad ass who gets lost often so I think I need this.
