It almost goes without saying that the KITT voice is far superior for voice navigation in your car than any other solution out there. (This spoken by a child of the 80s, of course.)

I heard about this product yesterday when someone I know told me the press embargo for this product's official announcement due Tuesday had been broken by a popular gadgets blog. Within 20 minutes several blogs already had it up on their site and this morning I found 189,000 Google results for the query "Knight Rider GPS."

Only goes to show you, children of the 80s are all grown up and have cold-hard cash to plunk down for throwback versions of everyday products. Kudos to Mio for understanding the spending power of the baby boomer's kids!
