Over 6 years in the making, this engaging 1994 documentary follows two inner-city Chicago teens from their early high school years to college as they try to escape their daunting surroundings and make it to the NBA. It goes beyond the hardcourt and also explores issues with socio-economic and racial division. An excellent flick to watch and rewatch.
