I have an older model (in a more wearable grey/blue color), but these are similar. If you love getting down and dirty in the outdoors and tromping through water, these will be your new best friends.

I broke my pair in on a trip to Hawaii - they went on the beach with me (I have a nasty habit of getting cut by coral on the beach, so these protected me), went hiking in them (must cross a creek? no problem!), and they were tightly strapped to my feet when I went tubing down a fast moving river. The mesh keeps rocks out and lets the water filter out. The rugged soles make them all-terrain.
