It's interesting looking at Outkast's progression from typical (yet talented) to overtly eccentric. Though it doesn't have the off-center stylings of some of their more recent work, "ATLiens" is an amazing album -- a classic even. It gave us one of our first looks into the minds of Atlanta's Andre 3000 and Big Boi.

"elevators" is one of my all-time favorite outkast songs, in part because of that line. i've strived to live by it. of course, i've updated that line year by year, so that now, certainly, it's 2008 gon be that year that all y'all player haters can bite me...

AMAZING ATLiens is a solid album. I love every song, which is pretty rare.
