Hot/Cold Thermo 14" Serving Tray

This is obviously a great idea for a party situation. This tray helps keep hot foods warm and cold foods cool, by having a heat sensitive core. What's interesting to me is why we only use these types of things for company and special occasions. I would use this in everyday eating and serving; keep dinner warm throughout the evening without having to use the microwave or oven to re warm.
