  My Mac Mini is the cutest, sweetest little machine. I love it. To death. I've never had any problems with it whatsoever. Plus, with the Intel core, you can run Windows AND Mac!!

  The Mac Mini hasn't been updated in a year and, rumor has it, has been relegated to end-of-life status by Apple. That would be a shame. It's the most elegant Mac ever made. For a symposium a year ago we had to install 8 kiosks. I sent out our postdocs to buy 8 mac Minis. It was so great to have them come back with bags full of tiny, perfect computers. I use a Mac Mini at home as a server. Running OS X, it can handle all the tasks I want of it: it easily runs Apache, serves out iTunes, accepts and dispense files gladly, and does all sorts of humble tasks without any complaint. The Mac Mini is not powerful. It is not flashy. It is simply an elegant, ideal little computer.

  I never ever, ever thought I would convert from a PC to an Apple -- but I did. I will never buy another PC -- it is Apple all the way for me. I love my Mini Mac and hope to buy a new one in January. We will give Sam the old Mini and keep the new Mac Mini as a main computer. Digital Scrapbooking is great on the Mac. We love the iLife programs. Iphoto is great for all of our pictures and videos.

  Hard to imagine this itty bitty thing is so powerful and is a full on desktop computer. Not only is it stylish and full of features - it's small and doesn't cause clutter on my desk. Plus, I can bring it anywhere and just plug it to my friends' and relatives' peripherals if I need to use my computer at any of their pads. Most of all, Macs last long and don't get outdated so quickly like PCs. Need I mention the fact that PCs are always prone to getting viruses and being hacked?

  It's a nicely designed computer, thats true. The best part though is the fact that it is built with no fans in it so it's completely silent. If you are into clean sound, there is nothing better than silent!

  I was a Mac-trasher until a friend of mine convinced me to try the mini. I spent very little time learning Mac speak, and now---somebody get me one of those hip apple stickers for my car!---I think I'm in love.

  I originally purchased one of these when I moved across the country, because I wasn't sure I wanted to commit to a MAC and it was very affordable. I was so happy with it that I upgraded to an iMAC with a 24" monitor. I will never go back the MAC is a great machine and this one is a very powerful machine for most users and a great way to make the leap away from Windows.
