Real Goods is one of the earliest purveyors of solar powered products and systems, and is still an industry leader in North America. The catalogue includes thoughtfully designed practical products of all kinds, from super-efficient fridges, to composters, to hemp socks. I’m a big fan of renewable energy and Japanese design, and think these lanterns would be lovely hanging out in our community garden.

Shoji lanterns are so amazing. They add such intrigue and mystery to the evening ambience. These would look great in anyone's backyard or outdoor dining area. No changing of lamps required (which is the hardest part of shoji lanterns) cus these babies are solar powered. Great for weddings and parties!
