I'll admit that I haven't read this book yet, but just the tactile sensation and overall appearance of this novel make it a must own. Made as a faux replica of an old, battered antiquarian text, the dust jacket is printing on textured paper with gold foil embossing… and it comes complete with printed on edge-wear to enhance the aesthetic. If that was the end of the design, then I wouldn't be impressed; but each and every page has a semi-unique yellowed look in addition to random stains and burn marks. The amount of work to create this look must have been massive and, in appreciation, it deserves to be savoured.

This is such a cool treatment and writing style.. the story is good as well, but just the way it's presented will give you the creeps... just start reading it and then TRY to put it down...
