I ordered wedding invitations from e-invite. I called prior to my order to make sure that I would get the order in time. I was told that I would receive them in seven business days which was perfect. It was a $2,500 order. This company guaranteed I would get them on a Wednesday,then never received, then guaranteed Thursday and never received, then promised for a Friday and then Saturday etc. Well I never received the invitations until Monday, which was quite discouraging, since had I known, I would have paid more for a rush delivery or gone through a local company which would have made them faster (than the actual time I received them) and much cheaper. On the up side the invitations were beautiful, once they arrived Monday afternoon. I called the manufacturer and I was told they never knew that this was a rushed order. Needless to say there is a lack of communication between einvite and the manufacturer. I called einvite and they said they are crediting me the shipping which was around $40, which to me really doesn't compensate the delay. So if you are making an order with a time constraint through einvite 911, fast invitations may not get there as fast as you think even if they are promised.
