Foundation Primer is a lightweight, oil-free, creamy gel used prior to foundation, creating an invisible layer that acts as a buffer to outside elements. It creates an even surface and the colorless gel leaves makeup looking fresh & colour-true the entire day. Cooling the foundation primer in the refrigerator is refreshing for the skin & reduces puffiness. Ideal for all skin types.

I never understood the importance of primer until the hype of Laura Mercier pulled me in. This stuff is great; it protects the face from the elements, it gives your face a smooth base for your foundation, it makes your makeup stay on longer, and mine is oil free to keep the pores in check.
