You might think of your mothers kitchen or swanky parties from the sixties when you think of a soda siphon but this bar accessory is making a comeback, if it ever left at all.

Soda siphons make seltzer (club soda without the pinch of salt) by carbonating water with CO2 cartriges. The process is quite easy and economical. Isi makes a wide array of colors including the classic metal and white versions.

You too can add a touch of swank to your booze ware cabinet while making sure you don't run out of sparkly fizzy water.

Isi also makes a whipped cream cousin for all your desert needs.

When I use this I feel all "Samantha from Bewitched"... equal parts magician (it puts acutal bubbles in your water) and domestic goddess ("Splash of seltzer, Darren?")

Also, a spritz of selzer makes for slower vodka delivery, which, in my case (lightweight) is not a bad thing.
