This video game is a must have -- it is one of the few games that is as much fun to watch as it is to play. My family (I have 2 pre-teen boys) has spent entire days playing, taking turns singing and playing the drums. I have even thrown Rock Band parties where the whole point is to drink and play.

The only downside is that it requires quite a bit of room. There is a guitar, a microphone and a drum set to keep somewhere. It is space well spent though.

To be honest, I thought Rock Band was really lame when it came out (well I still kind of do), but you can still have fun playing it with your friends. The music selection leaves a lot to be desired, and the downloadable music isn't that great either. But, you will still have fun playing with your friends! Just don't confuse yourself with a real musician...

Fun, addictive and social. essentially a high tech Kareoke with point scores and kudos if you are good. If you are bad you get booed off the stage. You get better with practiice. I love to use the drum set to thrash on.
