so bad it's good... the lo-tech effects in this 80's movie are reason enough to watch but throw in a genius cast that includes Laurence Olivier!!, Claire Bloom, Maggie Smith & Ursula Andress + greek mythology + an oft shirtless, young, HOT, Harry Hamlin & well - i'm sold. it's kitschy, ironic, heroic, hilarious & riveting all in one. LOVE it.

This movie really left an impression on me. I remember going to see it when I was four. Amazing mythological tale of Perseus who battles the Gorgon and Medusa. Pretty cool stop motion animation that reminds me of the special effects from the greek action. adventure movies of the 60's. (via Amazon)
