The Rubik's Twist is entertaining to play with, both for kids and adults. You can either try to twist it into some of the shapes provided as a challenge, or just play with it and create your own shapes. Our kids love playing with it, too. More longer term fun than the "Tangle" metal toy which has a similar principle.

While not very "rubik cube-y," my son (13) who is obsessed with the regular Rubik's Cube really enjoys this toy. Every time I pass his desk at home it is a new shape. It's well made and fun to play with.
