They're just like you and me...only better. Super better. But being a hero isn't all it's cracked up to be. Watch this heartfelt sci-fi/action/drama series where normal people with abnormal abilities just try to find their way through this crazy world.

Perhaps this show taps into my personal psyche, perhaps it triggers memories of being a little girl watching saturday morning cartoons. Or maybe from the few years I was a role player playing Heroes Unlimited. The point is moot. However the fact is this show makes me look forward to Monday nights as much as football junkies look forward to the superbowl. Every episode leaves me wanting more and keeps me glued to the seat.

If you haven't seen this show already, do your inner child a favor and do so.

As for me, I'm pre-ordering the first season on DVD (whenever that happens).

Great show, full of interesting confusing plots. Its about these people who have different powers, and over time, learn about their powers and how they use them =D

Fantastic and imaginative TV series that's not so sci-fi heavy. Definitely some of the best TV airing now. That and Battlestar Galactica. Wait, did that just discount my recommendation? heh.

Well, I loved Hayden Panettiere from Remember the Titans. She rocks in this, too if a little melodramatic. And I love Milo Ventimiglia, too. It is well thought out, conclusive without being predictable. I just wish they'd kill Sylar already. (via troubadour718)

This show surpasses all others in the fact that its director has planned out the entire storyline for the first 5 seasons... this pretty much makes it the most well thought out show to date & explains why it's been receiving such high acclaim. Oh, & then there's the fact that it's the most addicting thing in my life right next to Guitar Hero :P
