It is sooo cold in New York! Too cold for my regular knit leggings so I walked a block over to American Apparel and picked up a pair of these leggings. I have secretly wanted these leggings for a long time but couldn't bring myself to go into American Apparel. So glad I did, these leggings are bad a$$. They are tight, shiny, totally rock and roll, and look like leather pants (that are super-tight).

Best part about these is they aren't letting the NYC wind cut through my poor little legs.

I have these, but with a silver glittler finish. I have wore them twice in different events, and at one a dude called me "disco legs" but I love them. And have gotten several compliments when wearing them.

I'm not a huge fan of tights... unless they have a bit of sass about them!

I love shiny. It's great in so many ways. I mean, think gold, sparkles, sequins and disco balls. Is there anything not fun about any of those items? They promote happiness, attention and in some cases, bad dancing. However, when it comes to clothing, shiny can often make a perfectly normal person look like the victim of an 80s horror movie. This is why I'm recommending these leggings. They have a shiny, leather look that is sure to be noticed, ut, when paired with a matte skirt or dress the whole effect is played down (but still desirable). This way the shiny trend-du-jour does not also contribute to the making of a hundreds of fashion victims.

Now that Kitty has thrown in the towel, I'll admit that I secretly lust over these. A few of my girlfriends have been wearing these shiny leggings around town, and even though I haven't given in yet, I do fancy them.
