I just bought a dress at Macy's. The dress is so beautiful. It reminds me of a kickback to the 50s. The dress is strapless, with a black sheer thin scarf that goes around the neck and hangs down in back, so it doesn't seem so bare on top. The dress shape is almost like a bodice that flows into a full skirt with strips of fabric sewn down--between black sheer fabric. I had no idea what kind of shoe to get.

Then, this shoe appeared in my life and it is the perfect shoe to go with this great dress. The pink satin shoes are so pretty. I have never owned a pair of pink satin shoes of any type, so this was a new thing for me.

The insole is luxuriously padded and the heel is made of a high impact material, so when I am driving it doesn't get scuffed up. You may not be able to see it from this image, but there is a tailored pleating on the vamp underneath the bow.

The heel is not too high, which is nice. I feel like a princess when I wear these gorgeous pink satin slides. I just slide my foot into the shoe and away I go! It is interesting how a shoe can set a mood for a day, isnt' it?! (via Your-Shoe-Store.com)

Pink satin shoes are usually not my cup of tea, but when a friend on ThisNext put them on her list--the pink mules captured my attention. To me, satin dress shoes are the ultimate, and mules or slip on shoes, are also a favorite as I take my shoes off the minute I get home.

These shoes are way more lovely in person than in the pic and have become one of my favorite shoes to wear. They go with more than I realized and do perk up my sometimes monotone colored wardrobe. I have a pair of olive linen dress capris and when i put on a striped olive and pink blouse, this was such of a cute outfit.

There are several other things in my closet that look good with the pink satin shoes, too. And, like Chanel, when wearing these, I too, feel like a princess!
