Sonance has come out with a fantastic invisible speaker- labelling it the world's first- that all but disappears into its environs. The subtlety of design is music to my ears.

The Sound Advance® SA2C, the world's first invisible in-wall loudspeaker, is a two-way, full range planar loudspeaker system designed for use in commercial installations (for residential installations we recommend the SA2 invisible speaker). Proprietary structural and engineering features make it possible to invisibly install the SA2C in almost any standard wood/metal stud wall or ceiling. The speaker essentially becomes an integral part of the wall or ceiling surface.

We've been looking for something unobstructive and "unsubstantial" so that it doesn't take on a life of its own on the wall. This sounds like a great option.
