Makes my hair soft'n silky all day long

defrizzer that leaves hair shiny and not greasy; i think this would be great for those winter fly-aways and keeping split ends at bay $17.50

I have had great success with this product even thought I have fine hair. I use about a peas sized amount, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and looking shiny without weighing it down.

A lighter styling creme than i usually like but it's a good place to start if you're neurotic* enough to get into layering hair products.

Good if you're trying to tame flyaways. Bad if you want real definition. But everyone should have a bottle of this stuff... i've never met a hairstyle that didn't get along with some Kiel's Silk Groom.



*I prefer the term "experimental." Ahem.

Worked briefly at Calvin Klein & made a life-long friend in fashion. She tipped me off to this magical product. Have no idea how it works, but have never found anything that de-frizzes hair quite like this. It's the next best thing (& cheaper) than getting Japanese Hair Straightening which reminds me, I need to ask her about that;)

A few years ago I read in a magazine that Lynn Whitfield, (an actress whom I adore), used this product on her relaxed hair, but I never got around to actually trying it – well now I’m kicking myself, because this is by far one of the best hair styling/treatments for dry hair, and in particular dry relaxed hair, that I have ever used. It’s a fairly thick, creamy, lightweight and concentrated cream. The cream began sinking right into my hair (I started with about a quarter sized dollop), and my hair was immediately hydrated without any greasy feel to it at all a few seconds after applying. It added shine, cut down on my frizz, and most importantly, helped with my breakage. As a matter of fact, after using this on a regular basis, I noticed much less hair in the brush. My favorite 2 ways of using this were as an overnight conditioner on a Friday night (I wash on Saturday) in which I really piled it on (concentrating on the ends) and then put my hair in a bun. Then I would use a few dabs in the AM for shine and control during the week. Also, I would use this as a leave-in after washing on some occasions when I wanted to wear my hair more wavy and let it air dry. My hair looks super healthy now and feels super silky. I will no longer be without this Silk Groom! Tip: When the bottle is half-full, because the cream is so thick, it can be a little hard to get the product out, so just turn upside down for easier application.
