Ever heard of Mark the Cobrasnake? Of course you have. Then you probably know that he got his name from taking pictures at parties. This makes sense, of course, because intersting things happen at parties, things you want to remember. So, why not snap a picture? Well, it's all well and good to snap a picture, but don't you want to remember that YOU were part of the party too? I mean who the hell else took the picture? But where's a tripod when you need one?
