This artist creates really unique art from actual insects combined with hardware. Mounted in a shadowbox, he sells spiders with diodes, beetles with cogs and butterflies with hinges.

It's really something to see.

Ok. These are brilliant. Nothing less than brilliant. Nature meets science fiction in a Joseph Cornell kind of way. Tiny trinkets (cogs, gears, springs) have been added to these insects which plays upon their robotic, steamline look. Someone please buy me one of these! (via laura sweet)
