Britax Boulevard Convertible Car Seat: Patterned

Once my twins were too big for the newborn car seats, I started using this one. Unlike most car seats this one comes with wings on either side of the head, to offer support in case of a side impact collision (which most car accidents are). Some parents don't like this because the added safety feature impedes the baby's view. My girls have never known anything else, so to them it's not weird that their vision is more limited than other car seats. It can be used for children from 5-65 lbs, meaning that though it is pricey it is a very good investment. (via Babies R Us)
