I can't believe no one has recommended this album yet! Corinne Bailey Rae is one of my new favourite artistes. She released this self-titled debut album in 2006 and shot to the top of the charts with "Put Your Records On". "Like A Star" is one of my all-time favourite songs.

Corinne is amazingly talented with a husky voice and a genuinely sweet demeanor. She is one the few artists today that has a real talent and I love that she is bringing jazz back to the fore along with artistes like Amy Winehouse. This album is fantastic!

Her music is awesome, and if you've ever seen her in concert, she is just the absolute sweetest, most adorable person ever.
