I have been on a mascara “tear” lately trying a number of different formulations. I have to say, this was a very pleasant surprise that has proven to now be one of my favorites! I tried it in both the black and the black brown color (which is the color I prefer during the week). What I like about this mascara the most is that I can wear a little and have feathery lashes or I can build it and it doesn't get all clumpy or look overly done. I also felt that the shorter wand gave me a lot more control.

The lacquer end did a great job of keeping the mascara on my lashes instead of under my eyes and it seemed to give them a lot more definition. Quite frankly, I am now absolutely in love with the top coat (also smells great –how unusual is that?)! I have short, sparse Asian lashes, and the top coat really made my eyes pop. Another plus is that this mascara came off very easily at the end of the day without any pulling or tugging. It seems I have finally found a mascara that is a deep black, holds a curl, and makes my lashes look SUPER long (via Sephora)
