Were you a Sega kid? Did you grow up on Sonic instead of Mario? This collection is great because it includes just about every classic Sonic game, from Sonic 2 to Spinball, the way you remember them -- and using the PS2 controls aren't hard to get used to. My only qualm is that Sonic CD is not included, but I'm pretty sure they'll release it eventually. There are also loads of fan extras available -- it's perfect for any Sonic fan (that became introduced to the series outside of Sonic X and the newer 3D games).

Sonic was the long-time poster boy of the Sega console series; their equivalent of Nintendo's Super Mario. This Sonic Mega Collection is a complete library of Sonic titles across several gaming systems. It delivers 20 classic Sonic titles in this one game. Good stuff. I still don't know what the hell a hedgehog is though.
