This mascara is extremely similar, if not better, than the more expensive brands. Before I started using Maybelline Lash Stiletto, I was using Lorac Visual Effects. It definitely lengthens more, and seperates your lashes to a desired fanned out effect. The bristles of the brush are fine, and a bit more prickly, but they do the job. The brush does grab every lash, and it makes your lashes stand out extremely well.

The formula is a thinner consistancy that washes away easily. I hate it when I accidently get a speck or smear of mascara on my face, only to be frustrated with how hard it is to come off, smearing my foundation or powder, and making my face red as I try to remove my mistake. You do not have to worry about these problems with this product. Mistakes are removed easily with a cotton swab. I personally like the ergonomically designed handle as well. To achieve the fullest look, I apply two or three coats. If you apply the right way (one eye at a time, without letting the product dry before each coat. Also make sure your eyelashes are clean and dry before applying.) it will not flake up.

My lashes are not very long. They are medium in length and thickness and are slightly oily. Each time I wear this mascara, I am happy with the results.

Sweep Grip and Extend Brush upwards from root to tip to grasp each lash and coat from every angle to achieve extreme length and shine. Continue building lashes until you reach your desired look. My favorite mascara of all time!! This creates real looking, long, separated lashes that doesn't crumble, smear or fade away. You can layer it for a more dramatic affect or just one coat looks like real long lashes. Its no clumpy or too thin. I purchased it with the color Stiletto accenting cream eyeshadow. AMAZING! Now I am sad because I can not find the eyeshadow anywhere and its almost gone. :(

Love it!!! Seriously makes eyelashes look thick & longer.....so much better than super expensive brands like lancome or chanel.
