Description
Wow, what is there NOT to love about Uniqlo? The prices are insanely low, especially for Japan (sorry US, you're paying more for the same product in most cases). Soft Japanese denim for 3,990 yen (about $35 US), cashmere sweats for 8,000 yen ($68 US), and hoodies in all sorts of colors and fabrics. If things need to be altered, they even offer that in stores.
Cons? If you're on the tall side, or the busty side (larger than a C) good luck finding things that will fit. If you're on the short side, this place will be your mecca.

I wasn't as impressed with UniQlo as I had hoped to be. They have an awesome run of artist tees at their New York flagship store (largest UniQlo in the world), but other than that they didn't have anything very interesting. The vibe was similar to H&M, with a little bit of American Apparel style. They're expensive too, much more than I thought they would be. They have some cheap plain tees and a few other staples, but they're plain, and don't have the brilliant fit that American Apparel has.
Lastly, their flagship store isn't anything special either. A few cool facades, but the rest is plain Jane.
