One of my favorite gifts for kids. This is a kit that helps a child learn the life cycle of a butterfly. You send away for teh caterpillars. Once they arrive, place them in the expandable butterfly house, and watch them become butterflies. Great discovery product. $20.

Good idea for fun or even a science project. Watch as the butterflies emerge and learn all about the process. Comes with everything you need to experience this act of nature. Great gift idea for kids of all ages.

Watch them grow and let them go. The Butterfly Garden is an actual raising place for butterflies. This mesh home comes with 5 larvae with special food, feeding kit and complete instructions. Just feed, watch them grow and turn into beautiful butterflies and then release them. Your kids will have the best time raising them and watching them fly out into the wild. (via Momfinds.com)
