Description

The ultimate in ergonomic modern design. A unique and innovative cup that is as delightful to the hand as it is to the eye. Usually, original designs are different just to be different and therefore can be awkward to use, but this mug was designed to be superior in its function. Every convention was challenged during the design process; new techniques were even developed to accurately manufacture the unusual shape. Just as no time or effort was spared in the design, only the finest porcelain was used in the manufacture.

Description

Is this the ultimate coffee cup? Designer David Pier says so. He has designed this white porcelain cup and saucer to be the best around. The set is made from lead-free porcelain, and is microwave and dishwasher safe. The saucers also double as lids. What makes this mug different is that it has an undulating rim designed to fit the rim better and prevent spills. The oval body is meant to bring the center of gravity closer to the hand. I am not sure whether or not it is the ultimate coffee cup but the design has a certain fluid charm. It sells for $22 each (buy five and get the sixth free).
