a classic through and through. another one of those albums that kept me awake during college all-nighters. 99 problems, encore, lucifer, dirt off your shoulder? brilliant, all. this was definitely one to, umm, "retire," on. but ok, jay, you knew we'd always take you back.

As I write this shopcast, I'm actually listening to Jay-Z's The Blueprint rather than The Black Album - but choosing a favorite between the two is kinda like trying to choose your favorite child (or something). If I didn't have Jay-Z, life would be so much less good. (via KRiSTOPHERDUKES)
