Although I do not own an Arc Trainer myself, I do use them frequently at my gym. I recommend this machine because it provides a comfortable workout with many options. It has 11 incline and 101 resistance levels for a well rounded adjustable workout. I tend to burn optimal calories on the arc trainer with less effort. This machine seems to be lower impact than other machines and easy on the knees.

We have these at my gym, and for my clients who don't (won't) run, this is where we go for cardio. No impact and easy on the joints, but really works your muscles and burns the calories. I'm not gonna lie, this is expensive. I'd like to have one for my home, so I'm on the lookout for a more cost friendly version, that won't fall apart in a week.
