don't be fooled by the trailer - 'In Bruges' is a black comedy, not a comedy. once you get that you shouldn't be disapointed or surprised if tragic stuff happens. also, you'll probably recognize most of the shooting locations if you've visited Bruges. one of my favorite movies of 2008.

Colin Farrell not annoying but rather endearing as a suicidal assassin. This movie made me want to grab a delicious Belgian brew after.

I'm going to file this one under the same category as Burn After Reading. It's a rare gem that actually gets the Crime Comedy drama right. And, it's even a more rare thi9ng thing Collin Farrell doesn't ruin the film. In fact, he makes it.

This is a relatively under-hyped Hollywood production but is well worth watching. The acting is terrific and the story line creative. The setting of Bruges, Belgium is a nice addition to the movie experience. The content of the movie is not suitable for kids so reserve it for date night.

This movie is horribly depressing but is still funny. I LOVE Colin Farrell in it. It comes HIGHLY recommended. (via amazon.com)

Solid performance by Colin Farrell. He plays as assassin that accidentally kills a kid during one of his assignments. Apparently, shooting bystanders (especially kids) in this profession is a no-no, so his organization decides to off him. Plenty of suspense in this one. It also has its fair share of humor.
