What a fab piece of furniture!!! Great if there is a lull in the conversation : ) Probably wouldn't work great in a dorm room ... but would be fantastic in a board room where you could bang out some ideas!!!!!

"The Rumba table, by the artist Tor Clausen has several modules, each with a musical instrument beneath it: you choose from tambourine, cymbals and drums of various kinds, bells and chimes.

This is possibly one of the most brilliant ideas ever.

The idea is this: each module conceals one musical instrument. Cowbell, tambourine, snare, tom-tom, etc. By simply hitting the top of the table, you can actually play your furniture!!

Absolutely wonderful, and each table is hand-made to order. Available in 2x2, 2x4, 3x3, and 4x4. You get to pick your modules/instruments, and the modules can be easily rearranged without tools.
