In Japanese, "arata" means "new"!
The segments of the arata necklace are crafted from Japanese glass seed beads with a needle and thread, one bead at a time, using a handweaving technique called "peyote stitch." The beadcaps, chain, jumprings and clasp are all sterling silver.
