Boys and girls, want to turn my head? Pull up next to me on a scooter and offer me a helmet.
I've always wanted a scooter and having one is becoming a better and better idea what with carbon footprints and ridiculously high gas prices.
Vespas are sleek and seductive and the LX50 in particular looks like they used to in the 50s and 60s.

About ten years ago I went with my kids to the De Young Museum in San Francisco before it moved, a swarm of people on their vespas did a huge loop around the outside of the museum, it was magnificent. I have always wanted one since, in pale yellow, vintage style, simple and dressed in some special 'vespa' creation, tooling around town. (via www.vespa.com)
