What a great name for a great service. Ever wanted to create a huge picture mural on your wall using your own graphics? Upload your picture at this site, crop it, select a size and the "rasterbated" image will be sent back to you in easily printable pdf files. Just print out all the pages and assemble it into a huge mural up to 20 meters in size. Check out some great examples that people have created using the site. Great for a cool accent wall!

This website will take an uploaded image, blow it up, rasterize it and then turn it into a multiple page pdf. For some reason the first image I felt the need to rasterbate was a portrait photograph of Henry Kissinger. No, I don't know why. Just wanted to see enormous Kissinger.
A friend rasterbated a photograph from the recent BodyWorld exhibit and put it up on her bedroom wall, another friend rasterbated a picture of his nephew for the kids first birthday party, and I'm seriously thinking of rasterbating something to go on the wall above my bed. I just can't quite decide what - probably not Kissinger.
This is somewhat addictive and would be great for making banners for protests, or sporting events, or just paper your friend's bedroom with something strange. (via esh)

When our manager got back from a week long vacation, he found one of his office walls filled with a gigantic photo of the face of his nemesis staring at him (all in good fun).

I'm obsessed with this but I can't figure out WHICH picture in particular I want to do this with and what wall to take over. Sigh.

My friend processed an embarassing photo of me using The Rasterbator and send it to me. It came in the form of a multi mulit page PDF which left me scratching my head for a second.
Ive been doing graphic design for a while so this is an old trick for me - though the way it prepares the image for quick and easy printing is something that would take a long time without automation.
I love it! (via vrome)
