Aleppo pepper is a little off book for rimming a margarita glass, mostly because pepper is not typically used in this way but also due to the fact that Aleppo pepper is middle eastern ranther than Mexican.

Its rich flavor adds warmth without too much spice. I know, you're scared. Trust me. It won't hurt as much as you think. Ya know, just don't try it when you have chapped lips.
