This isn't Bill Murray from Caddyshack, but you will stil love him. And this movie also made me love Scarlett Johansen. A nice combination of romance and darkness

There's a reason why people love this movie. Make that multiple reasons - Tokyo Bill Murray, Scarlet Johansson, Sofia Coppola, that there's more said in the silent moments than the speaking ones, the heartbreaking joy of life, that final scene. If you haven't seen it, go rent it tonight. Or just buy it, because you will most likely want to watch it again. If you have seen it, watch it again. It's like an old friend you haven't seen in far too long.

The film is so great that it needs about half the dialogue as a normal feature. Breathtaking beautiful and charm paralleled by few others. Leave it to a Coppola to make a movie this great.

Unexpected. Bill Murray unlike you have ever seen him before. Intriguing step back to look intimately at the character's life. And a glimpse into life in Japan.
