Description
One of my favorite books ever but I do confess, I do love a good polaroid. Polaroids by and from some famous faces like Warhol but some others that I didn't know at all. I bought this book from Amazon for just 10 bucks. The best 10 bucks I've ever spent.

The Journey is the Destination: The Journals of Dan Eldon: Dan Eldon, Kathy Eldon

Description
A very special book by a man who literally took my breath away- Dan Eldon. His death was a tragedy but what remains is his amazing life recorded in journals (17 in all) The pages are filled with collages and photographs he took of his family and friends. He lived most of his life in his beloved Kenya, a short time in New York. I cried while reading it and was inspired!

Description
One of my favorite contemporary graffiti artists, Banksy. His graffiti art around London can be called interesting, whimsical, many times controversial, political, but whatever you call it-his art/Banksy himself is brilliant. This book in particular shows his sense of humor as well.
"People say graffiti is ugly, irresponsible and childish... but that's only if it's done properly."

Description
This series of books are my favorites of all time. I read these when I was younger. It is a love story mixed in with a bit of mystery. Two people, Griffin and Sabine, who write each other these letters and postcards. It's a visual treat; the art of Nick Bantock is nothing short of brilliant! THere is also something heavenly about opening letters and reading them.

If you've ever seen his work it is a very unusual style, the muted colors, the ethereal images. There is just no one quite like him.
