Kiki de Montparnasse

4 people recommended this item

Description

Shopping at Kiki de Montparnasse is always an enjoyable experience. Whenever I'm in SoHo I make it a point to at least stroll through. Their offerings are sexy and sensual, yet classy (though some of their lingerie does push the envelope). If you have a special evening in mind, kick it up a notch by picking something up from this store. I give it 4 snaps up in Z formation. Advice for men: If you're picking up something sexy from this store as a Valentine's Day gift, get it IN ADDITION TO something more sentimental and you'll cover all the bases. Brighton Bellisimo Heart Wallet - Small

First to recommend

Description

Many of Brighton's products are great for Valentine's Day since the company seems to use hearts in many of their designs. I'm a sucker for cute, small wallets and an even bigger sucker for this shade of red so this wallet is gorgeous to me. It's also perfect for when you just need to run out for a short errand or are using a small purse. Brighton wallets are also very nicely made. (via Brighton)

One-of-a-kind "Cupcake Cutie" necklace

First to recommend

Description

I feel like I need to own a Foxy Lulu necklace. Any of them. I'm fingering my credit card and really, really shoplusting. These unique necklaces have a high "Oh my God where did you get that" value. Also, it has a picture of food on it. Double whammy. (via Foxy LuLu)

Elsa Peretti Mesh Open Heart toggle necklace in sterling silver.

Description

Admittedly I am biased when it comes to Tiffany's jewelry. Their pieces are timeless, elegant and well made. What's great about this necklace (and many of Tiffany's chokers) is that it's a simple piece that stands out. Whether you're wearing it with your version of The Little Black Dress or with a tank top and jeans, you'll always be perfectly accessorized. This toggle heart necklace is the perfect gift for Valentine's Day! (via Tiffany's)

murano heart bracelets

Description

This bracelet is cute, unique and a gorgeous shade of red. I like to wear it with a dress or shirt in the same color, just to bring out the red. This is another great Valentine's Day gift AND it comes with matching earrings. Anything that comes with matching earrings is a winner in my book. (via Red Envelope)

Return to Tiffany oval tag necklace in sterling silver.

First to recommend

Description

This classic Tiffany necklace goes with pretty much everything. I wear it with jeans, club gear and business suits. I think I even rocked it with a bikini once. Sometimes, I loop it around my wrist twice and use it as a bracelet when I want a change. My necklace is over 10 years old and I still wear it a lot (and still get compliments on it). Using a chemical silver cleaner and polishing cloth keeps it looking new. It's pretty thick so I think it can also double as a weapon during those rowdy bar brawls. (via Tiffany's)

Lia Sophia Fashion Jewelry

Description

Lia Sophia is like Avon or Mary Kay for jewelry. Though I'm not a hostess, I've attended some of their jewelry parties and always went home with unique and gorgeous jewelry. Every time I wear one of their pieces, people ask me where it came from. If you host a party yourself, you get $100 worth of free jewelry. They have a "buy three get one for half off" discount that applies to the highest-priced item. My favorite bracelet (pictured) is from their Spring 2007 collection and is called "After Party." Gucci Bangle Ladies Watch - Series 1400

First to recommend

Description

This watch is elegant in the way Movado watches are yet more stylish. The only thing with this particular watch is that when you brush against the latch, sometimes it unclasps. I got on the phone with Gucci and was told I could bring the watch back and they would fix the problem. I haven't yet done it but eventually I will because it's such a gorgeous watch. In addition to the silver and black pictured, it also comes in gold with a gold face, gold with a black face and silver with a silver face. (via OverstockStyle)

L'amour Silver Cuff Bracelet

First to recommend

Description

The bracelet is engraved with the words "The first time that I saw you, I knew, it was love. We will never part” which I admit, in English sounds creepy. Next thing you know, he'll be wearing a vial of your blood. But in French, it looks and sounds pretty romantic. This bracelet is a fun piece -- provided it comes from someone you actually love and not the cashier at Starbucks who always tries to give you a free lemon scone. (via Red Envelope)
