Shield Wood Framed Window from Bellacor

First to recommend

Description

If you have ever seen an artist making a stained glass piece, you can appreciate the tedious and delicate work that is involved in making it. This framed piece can be hung on the wall, but why not enjoy the light shining through the beautiful colors used it this shield design. It can camouflage a view that is not so appealing or showcase it on a major window prominently in the center of the house.

Daytona Garage Flooring-Garage Floor Tile Garage Flooring Cover

First to recommend

Description

Now even the garage needs to be decorated. The rubberized floor tiles not only add pizazz to your garage, but they also have a very useful purpose. Grease, oil, anti-freeze, etc can be cleaned up in a jiff. You can probably get the kids to help by just letting them hose off the surface of the floor. Go crazy with your color selection and combinations; as they offer such vibrant colors as orange, red, blue, purple and others.

One simple way to change the entire look of your kitchen is to update the knobs or drawer pulls. If by chance you don't have any knobs at all; adding some will make you feel as if you have a brand new kitchen. These stylish knobs are made of glass and aluminum. The red color in particular adds a punch of color and a contemporary vibe to your existing cabinets. Don't forget about bathroom cabinets or even furniture pieces you already have that might need a new life to them.

Set of 12 Charger Plates

2 people recommended this item

Description

A table just doesn't look complete after you experienced these beautiful plate chargers. Added under your regular dinner plate, they bring dimension and volume to the table. You can sort of think of them as placemats. Layering your tableware is a lovely way to show off your china or stoneware. Start with some inexpensive chargers, and then let your imagination take it from there. Solid colored chargers can be embellished if you wish. Get out the hot glue gun and start adding pearls, rhinestone, rope, etc.

african violets

First to recommend

Description

African violets are one of the easiest and least expensive plants to grow. They are readily available and grow under the simplest of conditions. The only rule to remember is that they don't like to get the leaves wet. Watering from below is a must, and they do appreciate some sunlight. One decorating tip I can offer is to cluster a few of them together. I like to arrange three to five small plants together in a large bowl. Leave them in their original containers and set them inside a large decorative bowl, then cover them with sheets of green moss (available at craft stores). To water just remove them for a quick drink, maybe once every two weeks. Enjoy the fact that these beauties bloom often and come in many luscious colors.

Aspen Convertible Crib with Drawer - Oak

First to recommend

Description

A baby crib can be quite an investment, so why not make sure that you can buy a crib like this one that is multi functional. The beautiful oak frame is reminiscent of an old fashioned sleigh bed. The handy drawer underneath can be used to store extra bed linens or anything else you might need at a moments notice, such as diapers. When your child gets older and is ready for their own bed, the crib back turns into a full sized headboard. (via Burlington Coat Factory)

Art Series

First to recommend

Description

Many of us are hesitant when it comes to hanging art. Try putting up a series or grouping of alike pieces. This helps fill a large wall space without looking cluttered or mismatched. This particular grouping brings lots of color and drama to an otherwise simply room.
