Dyson Root 6 DC16 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner
10 people recommended this item
Description
This vacuum is definitely worth the price. It's name speaks volumes and because of it's specifically designed suction system it out performs all other hand-held vacuums on the market today. And, if you are like me and own a dog, well, more specifically a labrador retriever that sheds all year round you can use it daily to go over the couch and even on the dog itself. This vacuum isn't as heavy as some counterparts and has a very easy and large debris chamber to empty. And remember, no bags needed! (via Target)

ToughSkin Case - Speck Products
First to recommend
Description
I'm a HUGE fan of Speck Products! They make kickass rubber cases that really protect. The ToughSkin case is just thick enough to give your phone "Maximum Rugged Protection" but slim enough get in and out of your pocket. I recommend getting the black case because over time the transparent one will yellow.

FON - La Fonera
3 people recommended this item
Description
The idea behind La Fonera is to share your internet connection and where ever you go in the world you will have access to an internet connection. The catch? You have to be a member of the FON community and share your internet through a special router called La Fonera. You can also make money off your La Fonera router if you're one of the lucky few who have tons of people who are part of the FON community but don't have an internet connection to share. They pay $3 for a day pass to use yours (you get half that money & FON gets the other). However you can not have the best of both worlds and get free internet AND make money. 'Tis only fair.
Once more people start getting La Foneras and hooking them up to share their internet this will be one community you won't want to miss out on! Just imagine being anywhere in the world armed with a laptop and your FON account accessing the internet for free! (via FON)

As a perpetual freelancer and someone who works between 3 computers (minimum) at any given time I need to be able to get my files and get them now! The WD Passport allows me to seamlessly work between my 3 computers since the data I need to access lives on the 1 portable drive. Wacom Tablet
12 people recommended this item
Description
Everyone should learn how to use the pen feature on a Wacom tablet. I believe it will slowly rid the world on carpal tunnel. Speaking of carpal tunnel it was the reason why I was willing spend over $200 for my Wacom tablet. It was truly getting unbearable for me to use a mouse for my art work. My wrist was going numb and I knew it would be only a matter of time before I wouldn't be able to do any work. Since purchasing a Wacom life has indeed gotten better. I can work for hours on end without the fear of carpal tunnel creeping up on me. Another great thing about using the pen is there's less clicking noise so less disturbance to any neighbors (coworkers, significant others) around you. Making the Wacom pen become your natural mouse will take a bit of practice but in the end it's all worth it! You'll find yourself stressing your wrist much less. (via Wacom)

Rain Design iLap
6 people recommended this item
Description
I've tried many laptop accessories and found Rain Design's iLap to be one of my favorites by far. It's a great item for those of us who like to work in bed or on the couch. The soft velvet feet and wrist rests makes is comfortable and the aluminum body keeps it light. It keeps the computer heat away from your lap very well. It's also great just to keep the laptop on your desk since it lifts the computer away from the desk to let it breathe aka let the fan properly run and disperse. I have the largest iLap which is for 17inch widescreen PCs and it can be a little difficult to keep it on my lap for long periods of time but then I'm a small girl and a 17inch widescreen PC is a little insane to begin with. Smaller laptop users will find this a gem! You'll never know how you lived without it! (via Rain Design)
