Thee Milkshakes sound like amazing 60's garage rock (only they were around in the 80's). They are part of what was/is called the Medway Delta sound (for Medway area of North Kent, England). Another famous Medway band from the 80's were the Prisoners and currently the Len Price 3 (check out my other reviews, as I have reviewed CD's by both of these bands). I adore this sound, as it is real and true and gritty and a great alternative to much of the over produced crap that is out now!

Awesome 80's mod revival/garage band from the Medway Delta! This CD is a classic! Think the Small Faces meets Deep Purple. Seriously, you have to hear how great these guys were to believe it. To me the definition of a great "garage" band is that when you hear their music it is timeless. It could have come out 30 years ago or last week. The Prisoners are that kind of band! I believe they had more popularity in their native UK than they did in America, which is a shame! Get this CD and impress all your hipster friends!

I love British bands that actually sound British (Imagine if you will the amazing Mr. Paul Weller). If you cross the Who with the Clash and mix in the Kinks you will get an idea of what the Len Price 3 sound like! This is a really fun CD. I just got it and cannot stop playing it. Get this CD and see why these guys are the most relevant band around!
