Porthole Mirror

Description
Using a porthole mirror is a fun way to play with your guests walking through your home. I love to hang them at eye-height, so your guests will make eye contact with themselves as a part of their journey through your home.
Even more fun is to tuck one into a wall hanging of photos and artwork. It's very intriguing to most people to "see themselves" as a part of your art landscape. I did this with a client who combined sketch art with paintings and even a photograph or two, with a brass porthole mirror in the mix. It is also faintly reminiscent of a ship... You could do a few of them in a row to mimic windows!

I almost fell out of my chair.... I love these chairs!!! Look at the perfect pairing of the chair pad fabric, combined with the gorgeously worked bamboo chair back. They are classy, interesting, and the proportions of everything work so well!!!
The stripes aren't too big or too small... Can you tell I want these???
I can easily see these holding space beside a beautiful console (perhaps mirrored? dark wood? distressed off white with dark accents???) for a gardeny room that isn't cliche.

These sheets are on my bed as we speak. This image does little justice to the gorgeous olive green sheets, smooth and soft, that welcome my tired little spirit back to bed.
The beautiful thing about these sheets is that they are made of a sustainable, bamboo product called Modal. They feel divine, save the world, and come in killer colors!

These sheets are the best of the best. Higher thread count ($600+) and lower price (this is all relative, but for this type of sheets... these are a STEAL!)
At $100 for King, queen, and full... these top my A List. When even the boyfriend notices the sheets are so great... well... I leave it to you to see that they are pretty awesome.
I got the sheets, pillowcases, and a duvet cover in the white-white. They look so classy with my louder upholstered pillows and bolster, and end of the bed blanket!
They don't wrinkle and always feel cool and smooth to the skin. :)
